MÆNNERHOBBY Launches Crowdfunding for Europe's Largest Rum Distillery
The German distillery MÆNNERHOBBY has launched a €250,000 crowdfunding campaign to build what it claims will be Europe's largest and most modern rum distillery. The new facility will combine pot and column stills based on Caribbean models.

Von Payne Spirits to open distillery in Louisville
Whiskey producer Von Payne Spirits has acquired the Whiteside Bakery Company building in Louisville, Kentucky. The company plans to restore and transform it into a unique destination on the Bourbon Trail. The 60,000-square-foot facility will house production, visitor tours, and tasting experiences.

Puebla celebrates 10 years of Mezcal appellation
The Mexican state of Puebla is celebrating ten years since its inclusion in the Mezcal appellation. To mark the occasion, it will host the National Mezcal Encounter 2025 from September 12-14 at the William O. Jenkins Convention Centre.
